Modern Task Forces by Matt

 I have thoroughly enjoyed the process of learning, tweaking and improving my modern camouflage patterns. These models showcase some of the best modern miniature brands out there.

Starting with this SAS collection from Empress Miniatures I have painted in mixed DPM camo. These guys have all the kit: NVGs, Grenade launchers, Anti Tank weapons, LMG, Marksman rifle, shotgun, assault rifles and an attack dog. It really is the perfect collection should you wish to start getting into moderns. I enjoyed reading the book 'Task Force Black' and painted the miniatures based on pictures I found online from that operation.

Next are another squad of SAS. These are by Spectre Miniatures. I believe this range have been discontinued as they seek to improve their sculpts. Im certain we shall be seeing more SAS figures by Spectre in the near future. The black mixed with the multicam vests really provides a striking look on the tabletop.

Last up are these lovely Force Recon figures by Eureka Miniatures. Eureka sculpts are also incredibly detailed and makes the painting process really easy. I highly recommend their ever increasing range of modern figures. I painted these in distinctive digi MARPAT camouflage
